Akeel Marsh

I believe relationships play a central role in our wellbeing—and when communication breaks down, stress builds, or life feels overwhelming, it can become difficult to feel connected to yourself and the people you care about most. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

As a Master of Social Work student at Tulane University, I bring a background rooted in communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and working with individuals from many different walks of life. My experience has strengthened my ability to connect with people, understand their unique needs, and support them through challenges with empathy and respect.

I enjoy working with adults navigating stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and challenges that impact everyday life. I also have a strong interest in working with couples who want to strengthen connection, improve communication, rebuild trust, and better understand one another.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up authentically, explore what is getting in the way, and work toward practical, lasting change.

Whether you are seeking support as an individual or looking to improve your relationship, I look forward to walking alongside you as you move toward greater connection, clarity, and growth.
